Stress Management Solutions
Pressure is often what makes work exciting and challenging. However, continuous or excessive pressure can result in stress. Stress in turn can become long-term or chronic and can lead to poor work performance, reduced motivation, absence and a decrease in energy and stamina. There can be both short and long term effects on both physical and emotional health if stress is prolonged and not effectively managed.
There are different degrees of support and interventions available to maximise the flexibility of the options for your company, however all can be further tailored to support your specific needs. These services are provided by Best Practice @ Work and include (but are not limited to);
- Policy development and integration
- Training courses for managers and employees, courses range from a half day to two day courses
- Stress-buster lunch time talks and workshops
- Stress audits – the development of the audit, process and analysis of the outcomes presented, with action plan creation and project management
- Managing the tender and integration process for implementing an EAP service into the organisation
- Counselling skills programme for the front line staff who deal with stressed employees within the organisation
